How to measure your monitor:
All measurements are outside of monitor dimensions. The top outside dimension corner to corner being the most important.

How to Measure:
- Measure the OUTSIDE TOP dimension ( A ) of your monitor. Top left outside corner to top right outside corner. You will need this measurement during checkout to specify the length for us to cut the support bar.
- Measure the OUTSIDE Top to Bottom ( B ) dimension of your monitor, top outside corner of the monitor down to the lower outside corner. You will need this measurement during checkout especially if you select to modify the side length of one of our standard hoods.
How is my hood packaged:
The hood is hinged at the corners so that it folds flat for shipping. Some of our smaller hoods can ship via USPS Priority Mail. Larger hoods and multiple hoods will almost always ship FedEx Ground (USA) or USPS Global Priority Mail (Outside US). The hoods are shrink wrapped and have cardboard pieces that protect the edges while in transit. Expedited shipping is available for most hood orders. See Shipping for more info.

Will your hood fit my Apple Cinema Monitor?
We have many pre-built Apple Cinemas Hoods.
If the options available do not meet your needs, feel free to contact us; we'll build to suit.

If you own an older style Apple Cinema Monitor, (plastic frame with rounded corners) then we would customize a hood for you.

We also offer hoods for iMac monitors.

I work in an office that uses dual-screen (flat screen) workstations. Is there a hood that could cover both monitors at once?
We have a hood design for side by side monitors! We call it the "Dual Monitor Hood". The design requires the monitors very close to parallel as they meet in the middle. The turn around for this item is very quick.

Is there a hood that can fit a built in desk monitor? It's a monitor underneath the counter surface.
Yes; this is a custom hood.

How are the hoods "adjustable" & which should I order?
How are the hoods adjustable?
There are two boards that overlay on the top and are held together with clips in the back. A custom cut support bar that you will slide over the front of the hood once it has been adjusted to the monitor.

Will the monitor hood work on a flat panel display?
Our hoods will mount to both flat panel monitors and CRTs. There needs to be a flat surface along the outside of the monitor and at least 1" for the hood to attach to.
What is a "calibration door"?
The calibration door allows you to calibrate your monitor without removing the hood from the monitor. The opening measures 3 x 2". Look for this option at time of purchase.

What is durable high-density board?
This is known in the industry as chipboard but is closer to what is commonly known as a mat-board but with a layer of plastic or vinyl on the outside surfaces for durability.
