Lisa Marie: Senior Employee

Allow me to introduce myself!
My name is Lisa Marie Reginato and I have been with Photodon.com for almost a whole decade! When I started here I did lots of things! Some of our customers might remember working with me through emails and phone calls as I use to manage customer relations.

Switching gears
In June of 2009 I went to work for a very different kind of boss; my brand new, sweet, baby boy. Being Mommy is seriously the best “job” I have had (sorry Photodon)! When my son was 5 months I came back to work part time.
So there’s my history here at Photodon.com!

Things I like to do:
I enjoy working in the yard, mountain biking, camping, snow shoeing, snow snowmobiling, being out on the lake, on the beach, cleaning (yes cleaning) but more than anything, I love spending time with my guys at home!

What I like about my job:
My favorite part about my job is that it’s sometimes challenging and I’m always learning new things!

Get’n personal
I’ve been married to my loving, strong, hard working husband for 6 years this year.

I’m having the time of my life being a Mom! My son is my absolute hero. He’s definately going to change the world! Actually, he already has.

Bryton: So much more than a shop guy!

Who he is
Bryton is a charming young man who has been a part of the Photodon Team for 4 years now!
He’s fun to work with and always good for some laughs! Bryton brings a light and optimistic attitude to the work room.
He’s got a smile that lights up a room! He brings to the table a fantastic outlook on life and fresh view to how Photodon operates.

So much more than a shop guy!
Here is my interview with Bryton:

  • What are your responsibilities at Photodon?”
    Bryton: “I help operate a large portion of product production such as cleaning kits, die cutting for screen protective films and I also build computer monitor hoods.”
  • You are a pretty important guy! Bryton what is your favorite and least favorite parts about your job?
    Bryton: “I like that it’s a clean atmosphere. I don’t like when I work at night because sometimes I’m the only person in the shop.”
  • Is there a Photodon product that you like best?
    Bryton: “I like the protective film. It protects my screens from getting scratched.”
  • How about your favorite sport? Food? What’s your music genre
    Bryton: “ I like BMX racing, my favorite food is spaghetti, and I like all music except oldies.”

You can’t have a store that’s worth selling anything in without the dedicated folks behind the scenes! Just like spokes inside a wheel you need everyone of them to make it sturdy. Bryton gives great strength in wheel that is Photodon.com!

Introducing Mrs. Photodon

Who she is:
She’s the Copilot, Vice President and a crucial part of what makes our business run so smoothly. This is Jeanette, aka Mrs. Photodon

Jeanette is a sweet and lovely woman who takes much pride in the business she and Don own. She holds her own full time position elsewhere but her every spare minute is given to Photodon.com.

Background
Don and Jeanette have been married for 11 years and they are every bit as in love today as they were when they first fell for each other.

Here is my interview with Mrs. Photodon:

  • Jeanette, when did you start rolling up your sleeves at Photodon.com?

    Jeanette:”I have worked here 10+ years.”

  • What are your duties here?

    Jeanette:”Oh I’m a multi-tasker! Lol I do a lot of the purchasing, product building, I package orders, I’m everyone’s proof reader, pay roll, making coffee for the boss… pretty much whatever needs to be done – I’m there!”

  • What would you say is your favorite product?

    Jeanette:“I love the Photodon Ultra Screen Cleaner paired with the Bubble microfiber cloth. They do a streak-free and lint free job of screen cleaning.”

  • Let’s talk a little outside of work Jeanette. Get to know *YOU!* What music do you enjoy? Do you have any hobbies?”

    Jeanette:”I enjoy most any music except female opera and really hard rap. But I love music! Sometimes I even sing in the car (not well) but I have fun! As far as hobbies go I have a few: sewing, painting, reading, cooking, hiking and surfing the internet. I’m also sports fan of any sport my Grand kids participate in.”

Tom: The Webtastic Webmaster

Let me tell you a little about our newest Photodon Team Member, Tom.

Webmaster Tom

Tom is delightful man
Originally from the Frankfort area who came to work for us back in October 2010. He is a very talented Webmaster who is making much needed and very brilliant changes/updates to the website.

To get a little personal about Tom, he’s a cat owner and enjoys many different kinds of music. He and his girlfriend recently took an amazing trip to Costa Rica.
I’ve never met anyone who is so quick with a snappy comeback as Tom is! This guy will crack you up!

Glad he’s on our Team!
Tom is a great person to work with! He’ll make you laugh all day long while still tackling the day’s major issues.

Photodon is a much more productive business because of this guy! We’re glad to have him on board! Thanks for all your hard work Tom!

The Sweet Voice On the Phone

Who she is
She’s one of the best customer service reps anyone could have; let me introduce to you: Mary Ellen.

Background
She’s a joy to work with and is a very dedicated employee. Mary Ellen joined the Photodon Team in February of 2009.

Here’s my interview with Mary Ellen:

  • Mary Ellen, what are your daily duties here at Photodon.com?

    Mary Ellen: “I handle sales calls, I process orders, answer phones, invoice customers, order supplies, pay/enter bills and sometimes I package and ship out orders when we’re busy.

  • That’s a busy day! Do you use the products that Photodon sells? Which is your favorite?

    Mary Ellen: “I like the Protective Film to keep my screen looking like new!”

  • Mary Ellen, what would you say are your favorite and your least favorite parts about your job?

    Mary Ellen: “I like working in a relaxed atmosphere, my super co-workers and being close to home. I’m not too fond of end of the year inventory! lol”

  • Do you keep any hobbies? What do you do in your spare time?

    Mary Ellen: “I enjoy walking on the beach spending time with my family and friends, cooking, yard saling and gardening.

Meet the BossMan, Mr. Photodon Himself!

Who he is
Happy to introduce to you Donald Basch, Founder, CIO (chief information officer), Mr. Photodon himself! It was a great time listening to the brains/imagination behind all the wonder that is Photodon.com.

It may look like any other individually owned website business but there’s so much more to it than just quality products! The service and sincere care you receive from the staff, Photodon’s people, (like Don), are what make it a place to shop and to keep shopping at.

Here’s how my interview went with Mr. Photodon:

  • Lisa (that’s me): “So when did you create your own web based business?”

    Don: “I started back in 1999.”

  • Lisa:”Tell me what you do here at Photodon.com. “

    Don:”As Founder my job has changed from laying out the business framework to creating a work environment for others. I now consider myself CIO.”

  • Lisa:”Your store has a lot of equipment care type products. Would you say you have a favorite product?”

    Don:”I really like using the Bubble Microfiber Cloth that we sell as a screen care cloth as a washcloth!” Don chuckles, “It really works great!”

  • Lisa:”Yes I see you now have it listed as a washcloth in addition to screen and lens care!”

    Don:”Our best product is our screen protective film. The anti-glare film is most popular. I have to say the film I have cut for my new Droid X is my second favorite product. I really like this new toy!”

  • Lisa:”Alright Mr. Photodon, tell us about your workplace. What’s it like?”

    Don:”It’s a wonderful atmosphere! We have put together a great bunch of folks. They can get the work done and have fun at the same time.”

  • Lisa:”Don, get personal with us if you would. Tell us a couple fun things about you.”

    Don:”Well let’s see… I love coffee! Can’t function without it; the pot brews all day long. I really enjoy Photography. I always have some music tune being played in my head.”

We’re glad you made us a Team!
With the idea of only improving the computer monitor hood your store has spun into some cool directions with awesome products Photodon!
Because of your entrepreneur-ness you have created jobs and introduced honest and quality service and products to the whole world wide web! Hats off to you sir!
