Screen protector films are available in precut sizes. Also, you can cut to size or we will custom cut these films for you. See size chart below. One microfiber cloth with each order, installation instructions and reduced shipping cost (USA) These films adhere directly to the surface of your screen. Adhesion is via a silicone resin layer on the screen side of the film.

What will the anti-glare / matte film look like on my monitor?

From the photos above you can see how the anti-glare film reduces the distinct reflections that the glass like surface creates (right side monitor). It is true that you do not get something for nothing, so the question is what is lost with the application of the anti-glare film? The answer is not clear in the photos above so if we look a little closer, we can see that with the anti-glare film some image contrast and some brightness (~10%) is lost. See close-up photo Thus the anti-glare films are not recommended for color critical applications. Any of our crystal clear films would be best for color critical situations but then the only benefit is the protection that the film offers.

• These films only work on flat screen type displays. They do not conform to the surface of older style curved CRT screens.


• These films do require some skill and patience to install. A clean dust free screen and a clean area to work in is important to ensure a proper installation. Our Film Installation Kit is recommended especially for larger film installations.

In the chart below, you will find our protective film is available in many standard sizes. If your size is not listed, you will need to order the "next size larger" then cut or have us custom cut it to the size needed. ( prices are noted in the chart).

The terms "Anti-Glare", "Non-Glare" and matte finish may be used interchangeably.

The terms "High Contrast" and "Crystal Clear" may be used interchangeably.

Choose "crystal clear" for best visibility - 98% light transmittance

Choose "anti-glare" finish for glare reduction - >88% light transmittance, this is the film ordered by most people.
