Color / exterior finishes:

  1. "Black leather" is plastic coated and texturedto look like leather on both sides. This material has very good scuff and durability characteristics and will cleanup with soap and water.

  2. Ivory vinyl outside finish is about one shade lighter than most ivory colored computer equipment thus it blends well and gives a nice look. This material has good durability with the outside vinyl layer.

  3. All are equally efficient at blocking light and/or absorbing light on the interior surface.

These monitor hoods are made of durable high-density fiberboard, the front edges of which are protected and reinforced with plastic strips. The Ivory Vinyl type material has a light-absorbingcharcoal gray interior finish. The Black Leather type material has a flat black textured interior finish.
