MXS – Standard thickness Anti-glare / matte finish. Recommended for most screens larger than 19”, the film being thicker is easier to handle and apply. (thickness .009) Introduces some visual noise / pixeling. MXS film is ideal for larger applications such as large desk top monitors, televisions, and some industrial screens. This film is not normally recommended for touch screen applications.

Another solution for reducing glare is a monitor hood from Photodon available for laptop / notebooks or desktop monitors.

Maintaining your film, once installed, is the same as you would the normal screen surface, using quality screen cleaning products and proper techniques.

Note:

These films do require some skill and patience to install. To ensure proper installation, be sure to have a clean, dust free screen and work area.

These films only work on flat screen type displays. They do not conform to the surface of older style curved CRT screens.

These films are not brightness reduction films, such as a neutral density filter might reduce brightness.

Replacement time will vary based on usage and amount of abuse. Tablets and other touch screen devices take a lot more abuse as compared to a regular desktop LCD/LED monitor.
