MXT – Thin Anti-glare / matte finish. MXT is recommended for use on touch-screens and smaller displays, where glare is of concern. (thickness .006) Very good anti-glare properties. Introduces some visual noise / pixeling but less than the MXS film. If you are looking for the maximum visual clarity with antiglare consider the RJ1 film.

Another solution for reducing glare is a monitor hood from Photodon available for laptop / notebooks or desktop monitors.

If you wish a custom cut size, click the "Custom Film Cut" option above and then enter the horizontal and vertical dimensions in the respective text areas (inches or millimeters). We will normally subtract 1mm from each dimension for ease of application and/or removal. If you want the exact dimensions, enter the word "EXACT" in the same box as the dimension.

Maintaining your film, once installed, is the same as you would the normal screen surface, using quality screen cleaning products and proper techniques.

Note:

These films do require some skill and patience to install. To ensure proper installation, be sure to have a clean, dust free screen and work area.

These films only work on flat screen type displays. They do not conform to the surface of older style curved CRT screens.

These films are not brightness reduction films, such as a neutral density filter might reduce brightness.

Replacement time will vary based on usage and amount of abuse. Tablets and other touch screen devices take a lot more abuse as compared to a regular desktop LCD/LED monitor.
