Anti-glare, Clear, Blue Light Cut, Privacy, and Shock-absorbing.
Screen surface damage is irreversible. Protect your digital investment, your health, and your privacy: Photodon films protect screens from scratches, dirt, and abrasion. Many of our films provide excellent anti-glare function while our blue light-cut film helps to protect eye-health. If screen privacy is what you seek, our privacy filters are the way to go. Our shock-absorbing film offers 6H scratch resistance and extreme-grade protection for any screen up to 80 inches. Custom cutting is our specialty.

Comparison of Anti-Glare / Matte and Crystal Clear Screen Protectors
Touch Screen Capability: Most touch screen devices including those with a stylus input work very well with our screen protective films. However; please note: "Intellitouch" and "Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW)" devices typically DO NOT WORK with silicone-backed screen protectors. Please consider our monitor hoods for anti-glare solutions for these devices.
Color Critical Work: For best screen clarity and color critical work, choose a clear or low anti-glare screen protector. See the chart below for specifics.
Sample Pack: If you are unsure about which type of film will best suit your needs, we suggest that you buy a sample pack. This is a great way to test drive our films before purchasing. We offer free shipping in the U.S.A. and a $5.00 coupon towards your purchase for purchased sample packs.
Adhesion: All of our screen protectors, except for the non-adhesive privacy filter, are adhered with silicone adhesion backing, which will not damage your device’s surface or leave any residue in any way and makes removal possible.

Anti-Glare
We offer several different Anti-glare screen protectors ranging from 25% to 85% glare reduction.
Glare Reduction and Screen Resolution: Typically the greater the amount of anti-glare the more speckling once applied to the screen. This is most noticeable on white screen backgrounds and if you read fine text or do color critical work. For that reason, you may find that not all screen protector types are listed for all devices.
*The terms "anti-glare" and "matte finish" are used interchangeably.
*If looking for a good film type for use with a stylus, anti-glare screen protectors such as MXF and MXH have a smoother texture/feel over clear screen protectors such as MXA and MXO.
Clear
A number of our screen protectors are clear, which allows for excellent image quality and/or fingerprint resistance.
*The terms "High Contrast" and "Crystal Clear" are used interchangeably.
Blue Light Cut
Helps with eye-fatigue, macular degeneration protection, and sleep cycle disruption by cutting a portion of blue light emitted from displays.
Shockproof Film
This clear screen protector is the closest resemblance to glass in a film. It features a 6H scratch resistant surface and a shock-absorbing layer for any screen up to 80”.
Privacy Filters
Mini-louvers embedded in the film reduce screen viewing at a 25° angle, and nearly blacken the screen at about 45°.

Anti-Glare screen protectors such as MXF and MXH have a smoother texture over clear screen protectors such as MXA and MXO. - Every screen protector order comes with a sample test piece for you to try out. Use this to decide if the texture and function is to your liking.

- These screen protectors are not brightness reduction films, such as a neutral density filter.
- Visual noise occurs when you apply an anti-glare screen protector over a glass-covered screen. A film type may not be listed for this reason. However, this affect varies among device, screen protector type and lighting conditions. Ordering a Sample Pack allows you to test multiple film types to find the one YOU prefer! If you decide to purchase an unlisted screen protector, select any screen protector type for your device and in the Special Notes, type in your screen protector choice. - For color critical work, any one of the follow screen protector types is recommended: MXA, MXO, 6HS, MXH and MXF.
- The anti-glare MXT and MXG screen protector types are NOT recommended for color critical applications.
Photodon Screen Protector Film Structure
Etching Option
Etching onto the screen protector's surface is a sharp and efficient way to promote your business or simply label your film with your name. For a small fee, you can have us etch the film with a company or product name, part number, or website; whatever makes sense to you! The font is very small (roughly 5.5 point size) and faint, as shown in the photo. We normally center the wording along the bottom of the screen. If you are interested in this feature, on the product page simply select "Yes" to the etching option and in the field below this selection type in the wording you desire.
