This MXH protector is far superior in my opinion to the stock surface on the Cintiq pros. The stock surface feels horrible, like drawing on concrete, completely unusable. This one feels smooth, with just the right amount of tooth and makes the drawing experience much more satisfying. It feels smooth at times, and a little toothy with bigger strokes, it is the best of both worlds -- an absolute pleasure to use.\nIt is a bit of an added expense and application is a little anxiety inducing but it is absolutely worth it for the drawing experience alone, the protection is a plus. \n\nI was able to install it by myself, just make sure you do take your time and maybe put some music on to enjoy the process a little more. Clean the tablet really well with the screen cleaner and clean the tablet side of the protector liner as well so you don't put dust on the tablet as you are applying the protector. I align at the top left corner of my tablets and then peel the back liner to apply, and if there are any small dust bubbles underneath after applying you can just rub them out with the card or pen, they will disappear. I find that lifting the protector again to get the dust just introduces more and makes things worse. What is most important is alignment and putting the protector on quickly after cleaning.
