Custom hoods are for non traditional monitor set ups and differently shaped monitors. If you have a situation where our Universal Monitor Hoods won't fit your set up and/or monitor, we can work with you to custom build a hood.
For traditional monitors and set ups we suggest our Universal Monitor Hoods, which fit according to your outer monitor measurements.
If you're in need of a thinner/smaller hood, check out our Mini Monitor Hoods. These hoods also fit according to the monitor measurements that you provide. Need a hood for your laptop? We have those too!

Material type:
The monitor glare reduction hood is made of durable high-density fiber-board. The front edges are protected and reinforced with plastic strips.
The interior of the hood is a soft, light absorbing, dark blue, cloth material.
Attachment Methods:
Method #1 is a Velcro / hook and loop attachment that sticks to both the monitor and the hood. Once you have your hood aligned with your monitor you will apply the Velcro pieces where desired and install the hood. This method is used for our Mini hoods and many of our pre-cut specialty hoods.
Method #2 is a black cord that is threaded through punched holes at the bottom of the hood and wrapped around the back on the monitor. Two plastic stops are then applied to the inside of the hood to keep it in place once installed. This method is used for the Universal Hoods.
Method #3 will apply to hoods that may not have much depth to hold the hood. This method has bent in flat edges that Velcro to the facing frame of the monitor.
