For those who need privacy filters, choosing our privacy material sample pack helps determine which adhesion method is preferable to you. We have two different adhesion methods from which to choose: P2L and P2S/P4S.

P2S/P4S uses a full silicone backing and adheres like a traditional screen protector. It is removable but not reusable once removed. It provides more permanent privacy for screens.

P2L is a completely different installation method that is much easier. Instead of full coverage adhesion, the privacy material uses double-sided adhesive strips that go around the perimeter of the screen. It is removable and replaceable. The stripes are also replaceable if they wear out over the course of many removal/replacement cycles.

If you need to protect our devices from damage due to a harsh work environment, consider our clear HSC or clear 9HO. HSC is resistant to blunt force impacts and scratches because of an extra shock-absorbing layer. 9HO is also very scratch-resistant and includes an oleophobic coating.

If you need to combat work environment glaring, we offer 3 percentages of anti-glare materials: 25%, 50%, and 85%. MXH reduces glare by 25%, and MXT by 50%. Consider the 85% anti-glare materials of HSG for extra blunt force and scratch protection or AGB for blue light cut.

Screen Protection Materials Comparison Guide

All Photodon’s screen protectors and privacy filters material are made of high-quality PET plastic. They will protect your screen from scratches and most other damage. They will not crack or shatter like glass materials. They will protect your screens’ surface from harsh cleaning chemicals. They are touchscreen compatible with 99% of devices and adhere to curved monitors.

Clear Protectors: Fully backed silicone adhesion with high optical clarity. High abrasion resistance and shock absorbing material options available.

	High Abrasion Resistance	High optical clarity. Extreme abrasion resistance with smooth touch. Recommended for industrial settings or environments where the device is at higher risk of damage and for drawing tablets. 0% Anti-glare reduction.
	Anti-Reflective	Highest optical clarity. ARC is known for its excellent image quality. It DOES NOT reduce glare and is often confused with anti-glare. Recommended for vehicle navigation, gaming, and color critical work. Note: May display a rainbow effect when viewed through polarized lenses.
	Hard Shock Absorbing	High optical clarity. Provides excellent impact-protection with enhanced abrasion and scratch resistance. Recommended for industrial-type settings or environments where devices screens are at high risk of damage.
	Basic Clear	High optical clarity. Recommended for all devices. Basic protector for scratches and other damage. Does not have a shock absorbing or high abrasion layer but is still a great protector. Least expensive option.

Anti-Glare Protectors: Silicone-backed with a matte finish that helps reduce fingerprints and screen glare. Available in multiple anti-glare levels, the higher percentages listed below provide a more matte appearance with less screen glare, while lower percentages offer less matting and more screen clarity with increased reflection.

	50%	Medium matte finish. Recommended for all devices. Popular for drawing tablets providing a paper-like feel, churches, and outdoor displays.
	85%	High optical clarity. Highest matte finish. Provides extra protection against blunt force impact, scratches, and other damage. Recommended for industrial use or fieldwork where devices are at a higher risk of damage. Note: May cause gray outs when viewed from the side.

Privacy Filters: Mini louvers embedded in the material reduce side viewing while allowing a clear view directly in front of the screen. Two way and four-way privacy options. Two different adhesive methods; Fully backed adhesive and adhesive strip adhesive. All reduce blue light, up to 50%.

	40%	Two-way privacy. Provides privacy in two directions. Fully backed adhesive method. Easily removable however, only use if you plan to keep it on. Adhesive backing doesn’t allow for removal and re-installation. Works well on touch screens.
	40%	Four-way privacy. Provides privacy in all four directions. Fully backed adhesive method. Easily removable however, only use if you plan to keep it on. Adhesive backing doesn’t allow for removal and re-installation. Works well on touch screens.

Note: Two-way privacy filters are cut in landscape (horizontal) view mode, however if you prefer portrait, we can do that upon request.
