Help Photodon and our Customers:
You may receive an email asking about the fitment of your custom cut. For popular devices, we try to get those confirmed so that other customers don't need to measure them and for easier ordering in the future.
A picture says a thousand words! To confirm the fitment, please send us pictures of the whole device and upper and lower corners. If the size isn't good for your device, we will work with you to get a new protector with the proper fit. We offer a $10 coupon as a thank you for your efforts.
Manufacturer's Brand Name, Model Number, and Advertised Diagonal Size:
Providing this information helps us identify your device to see if more information is needed. By confirming your custom cut screen protector or privacy filter, it allows us to put it onto our website as a new standard product so other customers can then order it.
Sample Packs:
If unsure of which material type to choose, we recommend that you order a Sample Pack. This is an inexpensive way to ensure you choose the film that works for you. There are 2 sizes: 2x3" and 3x5". We offer free shipping within the USA and charge $5.00 to ship them internationally. We include a $5 coupon toward your next purchase with any purchased sample pack.
Etching:
Etching onto the screen protector's surface is a sharp and efficient way to promote your business or simply label your screen protector with your name. For a small fee, we will etch the film with a company or product name, part number, or website - whatever makes sense to you! The font is your choice of Arial 8pt or Arial 12pt, as shown in the photo. Options for the etching location are bottom right, bottom left, or bottom center. Available on all product pages. How to Measure Screens with Features
Measuring Your Device:
- Take your time to ensure accuracy.
- Determine the area to be covered with the protector (do not include protruding bezels).
- Using a tape measure or ruler, measure the width, left to right. Using millimeters is most accurate. If you can only measure in inches, our custom product page does have an inch to mm converter.
- Measure the height, top to bottom.
- Determine the corner radius, most devices are square (1mm) or credit card corner size (2-3mm). If yours are larger, use our corner radii checker to determine the radius.
- For cut outs:
- Measure how far from the top or bottom edge (whichever is closer) the feature is
- Measure how far from the left and right edge the feature is
- Measure the width and height of the feature
- It's helpful to send us a drawing of your device using our measuring sheet
- Email that to sales@photodon.com
If you need additional help with measuring, give us a call at 847-377-1185 and we can walk you through it.
We do our best to measure devices that are locally available, but many aren't accessible to us. That's where you come in!
If your device isn't listed on our website, you can order a custom cut. Just provide width, height, corner type, and details about any cameras or cutouts. Visit the measuring tab on this page for step-by-step instructions and helpful videos.
- Important: Please don't rely on manufacturer specifications-they often include bezels or total dimensions, which aren't accurate for screen coverage. Measuring your device is essential.
While it's your responsibility to measure and order correctly, we review submissions for any obvious issues. If the size isn't quite right, we'll work with you to get it corrected and offer a 50% discount on a replacement.
All products are made to order. Most orders ship within 3-5 business days. There is no minimum order quantity required.
Help Photodon & Get Rewarded!
We'd love your feedback on the fit of your screen protector or privacy filter. You may receive an email asking for specific photos of your device with our product installed. This helps future customers and allows us to associate a SKU with your device. As a thank-you, we'll send you a $10 coupon.Note:
- Our screen protectors work on touch screens 99% of the time. If your device is an ELO or a device with infrared Intelli Touch, or Surface Acoustic Wave technology, touch function may not work with a screen protector installed. Please consider ordering a sample pack or consider our Monitor Hoods for anti-glare solutions for these devices.
- If you are ordering a two-way privacy filter, they are cut in landscape mode if you need it in portrait mode, we can do that if you let us know that is a requirement. Be sure to add a note to your order during checkout to ensure the privacy filter will work for your application.
