Screen Protector or Privacy Filter Sample Packs

I needed to protect my Cintiq 27QHD from further scratches, while keeping the same type of matte surface (frosted glass) that "grips" the stylus and gives a feeling of pen-on-paper. \n\nAfter trying one brand of film that had NO anti-glare at all (despite claims that it did), and another that went CRAZY with the amount matte and actually made the screen too blurry to read text, I knew I couldn't keep making expensive blind choices.\n\nThis is where the Photodon samples came in! \n\nDespite reading all the forum threads, all the reviews and all the photos and comparison tables, I still wasn't 100% sure of the grade of anti-glare I needed, and which one best mimicked the Cintiq's original surface, so I ordered the sample set to try out. \n\nThe samples were small, but good enough to try writing on them, as well as read some text. Within 5 minutes of sticking all 4 samples to the screen and scribbling over them, I knew which of them best replicated the etched glass surface and could finally make an informed decision!\n\nThese sheets aren't even that expensive given the awesome quality, but the shipping (to europe) is holding me back. It actually costs more than the film itself... Ordering 2 sheets doesn't help either, as the cost of shipping increases to nearly twice as much, instead of staying the same as for a single piece of film. \n\nSo despite being 100% certain of my satisfaction thanks to the brilliant samples, I guess I'll have to think this one over...

This is my first time to buy the sample and I am surprised to find it is more effective. I hope the MXH: anti-blaze 25%. You can go one step further and make the color look even more transparent.

I chatted with customer service regarding the work situation I found myself in. I wish I could remember her name. She walked me through the site and strongly suggested the sample pack because it is hard to describe the different levels. The key selling point was the 5 dollar off coupon. I was able to make an informed decision to get what I needed and not having to settle for what is available. My only suggestion would be to have a corresponding coupon available for the other sample sizes. A 2"x3" on a 32" screen was a challenge! Smile. They were easy to move and reposition. Bonus one fit on my desk phone screen!

I have used Photodon's Sample Kits before. They are not just clever; they are extremely useful and inexpensive tools to determine which film is best for your purpose. They include a discount coupon that deducts the price of the kit from your order.\n\nVery good thinking. It's truly customer-oriented.

I got the 3x5 anti-glare sample pack sample pack, and it was great for making a decision on which screen protector I wanted for my 15.6" laptop screen. I definitely think the smaller samples would have been too small, but with these, I could put them all on at the same time and cover a fair portion of my screen.\n\nI wanted something diffuse reflections on these ridiculously glossy new monitors, and this pack really helped me decide that the 85% MXG filter is right for me. The 25% really doesn't cut down on glare that much, the 50% works fairly well but has a slightly rainbow colored speckling effect on white screens, which is particularly odd because the 85% doesn't really have this effect. The 85% is a tiny bit darker than the normal screen, but it seems to just completely block out reflections, which I imagine will make my laptop infinitely more usable.\n\nThe 85% also had the smoothest feel, which is something that I didn't initially consider but is a plus because I have one of those new fangled hybrid laptops with a touch screen. It also seems to be the thickest.\n\nI also appreciate the $5 off coupon for the next purchase. That's a great idea to run that with the sample packs.
