The sample pack was very useful. Helped me decide which one to buy (I actually had three different films on my 27" screen simultaneously for a few days, so that I could really compare under different daylight conditions). Good customer service, too.

I put MXT and MXG on my Clear Nav Display and both were effective in reducing the reflections I get when the sun shines on my face. MXT is more effective but also reduces the contrast of the color and detail of the moving map display. Note: Clear Nav is a flight computer for gliders.

I didn't end up buying any of these products, which is not a bad thing-- it's exactly why this sample pack was so great. It allowed me to see if any of them would be worth buying for my specific purpose.

I ordered the sample pack before I ordered the full sheet for my monitor. It was very helpful in guiding me to the best option. Right away I was able to tell that these films would solve the reflection problem from my glossy screen.

Definitely a wise choice to compare the samples. The samples are such that you can compare them side by side on the same screen. I would have probably ordered the wrong anti-glare film if I did not use the samples. The samples showed me what it is important to me. Thanks.

I was unsure about how the different types of films would look on my glossy 17" MBP, so I got this to compare and I'm very glad I did. I was torn between the MXH and MXA films and determined that the MXH introduced just enough speckling to be obtrusive for my application, and while the MXA was a noticeable improvement over the bare display, it did not reduce glare enough. It was a worthwhile $5 to find out that the best solution for my application would be a monitor hood rather than a screen filter.
