Screen Protector For Ugee UG-2150 21.5-inch Pen Tablet
Chances are, you love your tablet, and you realize that the glass-fronted digital screen is vulnerable without protection of some kind. A tablet's portability means more potential situations to scratch or damage your screen. If you use your tablet in public places, consider a privacy filter to keep your information private.
If using a screen protector on a device with a protective case, the size of the screen protector may need to be modified to fit within the frame of the protective case. This is because if pinched on the edge, the screen protector can distort, causing an air bubble to appear along the edge.

Feels really nice to draw on--it gives a great texture. I loved all the extra cleaning materials included too!
We're glad you're happy with the MXG film, Saoirse!

Great toothy(texture), eliminates glare from both screen and over head lighting(my office is lit up brighter than the Las Vegas at night). Well packaged, exelent customer service on the chat help option they helped me find the right size for my product and offered me reviews not only on their site but were willing to look up YouTube’s(if available) for me just to see the screen protector on the product I was trying to protect. They also offer samples if your unsure of what style your interested in avaible in two different sizes. The free gifts were great they included(cleaning cloth, anti static, anti dust, micro fiber cloth) can’t say enough good about Photodon.

I'd say it's a must-have for a Ugee-2150
Pros: excellent pen feel; nice set of install tools; good turnaround on orderCons: price, with shipping, gets to be a noticeable percentage of what was paid for the monitor itself.
The protector really improves the feel of the pen, and justifies the purchase in and of itself, for me. Whatever surface protection it might provide was icing on the cake for me, since I am not that worried about my damaging the monitor surface, in general. Some Ugee sellers (such as the one I had bought from) may throw in some generic protector as part of the purchase but, if this is part of your livelihood, I think it doesn't make sense for you to just settle for a randomly-chosen layer between you and the work surface.
The company is great about providing samples, so if you are curious about how a film would look, or make the pen feel, you can arrange to check that out.
The kit was well-packed, and included a full set of tools for getting a bubble-free install in place. I found dust to be the biggest problem, myself... avoiding bubbles that were not dust-induced was easy.
I did recruit a second set of hands for the install. It made the early part, when most of the screen was not already attached, much easier (since they could hold that extra while I just focused on attaching).
Things I think I would have liked, but definitely not enough for me to remove a star :) :
- I wonder if it would be better to not have the protector so closely match the size of the drawing surface. If there was some extra all around, it might make it less critical to get the starting alignment so close to perfect.
- I wish the number of characters for etching could have been higher. It would have been fun to add a nice quote to notice at times later, like, "When we give ourselves permission to fail, we, at the same time, give ourselves permission to excel."
We will take your feedback into consideration, Matt. Thanks!
Pros: I no longer get headaches from the glare of a glossy screen!Cons:
The Ugee UG-2150 comes with a glossy screen that I wasn't going to be able to use regularly without doing something about the glare. I initially ordered the sample pack to help me select the proper screen protector. I decided on the MXH, and it is working out far better than I had dared hope. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has a glossy screen that has too much glare (which is every glossy screen, IMO).
Thanks, Nicole. Glossy screens can really take a toll on a person's eyes and can cause headaches. We're glad that the MXH helped you have a better viewing experience.
Pros: Wonderfully packed with care and very prompt turnaround time. Very clear, easy to follow instructionCons: As someone else mentioned, the danger of dust when installing. Other than that, none really.
Brilliant - Transformed my Ugee 2150 from a meh/not keen, I'm going to sell this rubbish, it's an uncomfortable, off putting experience every time to amazing and I cannot get enough.
I now love the thing.
With this attached, it almost feels like working on paper again. It kills the distracting glare and that hideous, off putting drawing on glass vibe that comes with the default Ugee. With this attached, the strokes become a real pleasure again and simply makes the Ugee feel good to use, which is so dammed important.
I seriously think this should be fitted as standard to all Ugee tablets. Cannot recommend it enough.
Wow, Jon! Thank you so much for such wonderful feedback! We're happy you love your computer again! :)

Pros: All around does what it says it does and makes the digital painting experience great on the UG-2150Cons: There is always a risk of messing up the installation because of dust. Just need to be very careful
Very simple and easy to install with all materials needed to get the job done. Air bubbles are extremely easy to get out and if you are careful about cleaning your work area dust can be managed.
I purchased the MXH 25% glare reduction for the Ugee UG-2150. Dramatic difference in that the screen feels a bit better than my Wacom Cintiq 13hd did now. Very nice to draw and paint on, but also the glare is no longer an issue from lights directly behind me. Still looks sharp, and in my opinion, the screen looks better and clearer than before. Although this could be because the glare is cut out, but no blurriness or issues with the MXH variety at all. Solid product and clear instructions.
Thanks for providing such a thorough review for other customers, Sean. This is very helpful!

Better than Ugee's Default Screen Protector
I found this site thanks to Iris Muddy's youtube channel. I needed a screen protector that wasn't as frustrating as the screen protector that was included in UG2150. It's still frustrating but I was able to get this onto my screen in about half an hour. I cleared the bubbles with ease and I had no dust/lint problems. Compared to the default UG2150 screen protector, I struggled for two hours and gave up on it.
I highly recommend the MXH or the MXO for this film. Iris Muddy recommends the MXH but I think either of these choices are good.
MXH is recommended if you live in a place that would produce a lot of glare. Aside from what Iris says about MXH, I believe that the MXH will allow you to work longer on the screen without straining your eyes.
MXO is recommended if you do not mind the glare or do not suffer from eye straining quickly. This screen protector produces a clearer quality as it does not suffer from anti-glare screen reduction. The anti-fingerprints are a bonus.
I am not sure if my outlook on MXH and MXO are accurate but I find these two to be the best out of the available selection.
6HS is also good but this is a very situational item. Do you live in a place where stuff may fall on you or your belongings frequently? Or do you have the extra money? If you say yes to either of these questions, then this is for you. Keep in mind that this is like drawing on your current Ugee glass screen, so if you are going for a grainer feel, then the 6HS/MXO are not for you.
I went with the MXH after trying out all 3 from the sample pack and I am loving it so far!
David, we so much appreciate your thorough feedback. Way to help others!
