I got the MXH screen protector for my Surface Book 2 13 in.
The shape of it fits perfectly on the screen with gaps for the camera and speakers/vents (whatever they are) on the screen. The texture of it is perfect for use with the stylus, which is mainly what I was looking for. I found the texture of the screen too slidey when using the stylus, so it was difficult to draw neat lines when creating. Now with the MXH the texture is perfect it feels closer to the texture of a paper with just enough resistance to be able to draw neat precise lines. The screen protector also does not affect the sensitivity of the pen. Also now I dont have to worry about scratching the screen with my nails when I zoom in/out.
Perfect! Thank you
Wow! Thanks! We'll take perfect! Happy creating, Shane!

so expensive.. so worth it
Pros: brain health, eye care, drawing smoothness, grain and textureCons: price (mostly shipping costs - I'm from France)
It's way too expensive.. with shipping it's like 40€..
But oh it's worth it. the precision in the choice, and description. this is very important when we spend our entire days in front of our screens, write, draw, watch movies, anything... reflective screen cause me headaches, looks like a mirror.. it's horrible to look at for a long time, or with hazardous lighting.
I use photodon MXH screen protectors for 2 years now, just order a new one, cause new SB 13".
I just applied it, and my eyes are so happy right now :-) I spent 2 weeks with the regular reflective SB screen, and migraines were back... damn' never use a reflective screen without anti-glare !!!!
no need for too much, just to 'break' the precision of the reflection. your eyes will thank your brain for doing so ;)
Oh, and also, I'm a photographer and the fine grain the film brings actually makes pictures better looking than without. texture
Thank you, Ben. Because we are a small company, we don't get any shipping breaks. (You paid $26.00 in shipping) We're appreciate your repeat business and your taking the time to write such a nice review.

What I was hoping for
Pros: Texture, Reflection suppression, ease of application.Cons: Squeakiness with pens, Very slight visual loss.
The Surface Book is primarily used for art, and I found the gloss screen to be far too slick for controlled pen movements with my shaky hand. Also found the screen to be hellishly reflective.
First up, this product was shipped internationally, and it arrived in perfect condition.
The MXH protector gives the screen a much better reflection level. Not quite the matteness of a Cintiq 27", but close. The textured feel is much better for pen usage, allowing me to have long smooth strokes, or shorter rapid hatching with greater ease. The only negative here is that pen strokes cause a slight squeaking sound. Not a huge one, but it may irritate some.
The visual quality has changed a little with the protector on. The contrast is not quite as great and the colours look a little more washed out. I haven't tried calibrating the display since application, but I have a feeling it should fix that problem. Even if it doesn't, the difference is minimal, the trade offs are worth it, and it's still one of the best looking laptop/tablet displays I've seen.
Application was easier than I was expecting. Never applied a screen protector this large before, so there was some nervousness. After initial application, there were quite a few micro bubbles under the film. After some light to normal squeegeeing, they all disappeared. Ended up with one dust spot that bubbled. I let it be as it sits over the bezel and doesn't interfere with the display. With a little effort it could have been removed, but I just didn't care enough to worry.
Thanks for the feedback, Matt. Using some of our Nano spray is helpful to prevent the squeaking of the pen draw. Contact us if you'd like us to send some to you.

much better than I hoped
Pros: Great fit. Just right anti-glare. Easy install, if patient.Cons: There is a slight trade-off on image sharpness due to anti-glare, but if you have glare, sharpness d
I've had bad experiences with screen protectors in the past. I needed slight anti-glare, but I hated to give up the resolution on my surface. It was well worth it. Installation was easy--that is, because I followed the instructions exactly. The fit, unlike some other screen protectors I've tried on other products in the past, is perfect. I've only had it on a few weeks, but it seems like it's going to be a permanent improvement to my Surface.
Screen protectors can be tricky to install, Barry. We're glad you had a successful experience. We're also glad to know that you're looking at permanent improvement of using your Surface Book. All good news. Thanks for the review!
