The actual cut size for this item is 10.3 inches diagonal to cover up to the curved edge of the display and leaves a few millimeters on each side for easier installation. For light antiglare option, consider our MXH film type.

- Install film in a warm environment (60 degrees (F) and up).
- Clean screen thoroughly with provided cloth and cleaner, removing any polish, wax, finishes or dust..
- Apply film in center of screen -- screen protector MUST be centered to adhere properly.
Disclaimer: Exposing film to extreme temperatures may cause the film to delaminate. If this happens, push out the air bubbles when it warms back up.

I found the Photodon screen protector on a Honda Ridgeline owner forum. I managed to put a small scratch on the Navi screen early on before finding Photodon's product.The screen is easy enough to scratch. Honda should simply include the screen protector with the Navi system. \n\nI chose the 6HS film because the screen is so far off of the driver's line-of-sight axis (How about tilting the screen toward the driver, Honda?) that I thought the MXH film would make it difficult to see detail, especially when I am wearing polarized sunglasses. I find the 6HS film easy to keep clean, especially using Photodon's cleaner and lint free cloth. Seems to accumulate less dust than the unprotected Navi screen but maybe it's just my imagination.\n\nThe film is easy to apply--bubble-free on the first try. Use the taping approach recommended by another reviewer to center the screen protector when applying. That really helps to reduce the need for second and third attempts to center the protector film. And follow Photodon's excellent instructions for applying and smoothing out bubbles.

I bought my dad a MXH shield for his 2016 pilot due to finger prints and glare issues. It only took a few minutes to install. One tip, use a piece of tape to hold in place along the top side while you align it and then just flip it up to peel the back off and then can gently lay down and work the bubbles out. the tape held it in place so I did not have to worry as much about realigning the protector as I was laying it down. It definitely hides finger prints and helps with glares.

Installation was very easy. As others mentioned, just take your time and make sure it's centered. Clearly it reduces the fingerprint problem and I also like that it's custom fitted to the shape of the Ridgeline's head unit. I ordered the MXH which supposedly is a similar texture to the newly revised head units Honda now offers after so many complaints regarding the fingerprint issue. The only downside that I can see is that this screen protector seems to attract lint/dust. I usually wipe it each time I get in the truck, Not really necessary, but it's one of my habits.

Purchased the Honda Pilot 2016/2017 Navi 8-inch Screen Protector with Install & Care Kit, Film-Type: MXH. It fit perfectly. I did not purchase the sample kit. This works perfectly and is not too dark.
