I love XP-PEN to death, but the screen protector they gave me was scratched way too easily by rounded pen nibs (I draw lightly). It only took a couple months of use before the scratches on it were so deep that they kept catching the pen, making me unable to draw. I thought about ordering a replacement from XP-PEN, but I didn't want another screen protector that was so easy to wear down. It took a bit of research but I eventually found Photodon. I wish I found this sooner. I've been using this screen protector for a year now, and there's only a few small scratches. I love it!

My tablet's stock screen protector had become horribly scratched after many years of use, so I bought photodon's MXT screen protector as a replacement. It has a similar matte look and feel as the original and it has a nice feeling texture to draw on, kind of like smooth paper.
It wasn't too difficult to install thanks to the kit and instructions included. A couple tiny specs of dust got trapped under the protector because I wasn't super careful, but it's not too noticable . Even with an imperfect installation, it looks so much better than all of the scratches I was dealing with before.
Very happy with the quality of this product!

Honestly, I was contemplating whether or not to replace my old screen protector with PhotoDon's and I should've done it years ago! It's pretty much the best screen protector you can get and definitely worth the price.
Their customer service is excellent as well! I actually bought 2 screen protectors because I know for myself that I wouldn't be able to get it right the first time. In my 2nd attempt of installation, there were some tiny, tiny bubbles that just wouldn't go away and I suspected that there were tiny dust particles that got in because I didn't prepare the installation area properly. I contacted PhotoDon and let them know about my blunders. Unfortunately, they can't really send anyone to do the installation for me or I can't send them my pen display and do the installation in their location because I live too far away, so they offered me a special discount to buy replacements. Fortunately, the tiny bubbles dissipated after a couple of days so there's no need for me to spend extra. They properly addressed my concerns and I'm left very satisfied.
To anyone who is buying a pen display with a preinstalled screen protector, they're typically easily scratched by your pen, so replace it immediately with PhotoDon's and save yourself some headache. These brands actually need to source PhotoDon to supply their preinstalled screen protectors.

This screen protector may be the best thing since sliced bread. I got the 9HO and it's very smooth and glossy, which is a departure from the XP-Pen protector I had previously which have a slightly matte texture but it's a welcome change. It hasn't gotten any scratches or signs of use yet and it was drawn on almost non-stop for around 12 hours. Installation was a breeze and the kit included was extremely handy! It is leagues better than the XP-Pen brand protectors. I'm definitely getting another when this one eventually wears out. It was a little on the pricy side but it's worth it for the quality.

I usually don't leave reviews like this but this screen protector had one of the best installations I've ever experienced. After failing to apply two different XP-Pen brand protectors and feeling so angry and drained about the waste, I got one of these protectors in MXH in the hopes that it would go over better. And to my pleasant surprise, it did! It came quickly in the mail, had straight forward instructions and cleaning equipment, and gave me a test sample to double check whether it was the kind of covering i wanted. While the XP-Pen protectors took half an hour to install and plenty of tears, this protector went on quickly. The static electricity generated when peeling off the backing scared me at first because that was what attracted so much dust onto the screen with my original protector, but even after applying it twice onto the screen to get it just right, I didn't run into any issues. All of the bubbles came out easily and without too much pressure. Only a few bits of dust got under the protector, and even then they didn't leave big bubbles around them after being pressed- they were simply trapped under. I was more than happy to just ignore them. My only complaint is that the squeegee can easily catch on the top layer and tear a bit at it---it never tore all the way through to the actual protector but it made me fear it might. Overall it was a huge relief to be able to apply this so well. I can't speak for how long the protector lasts yet, but I'm satisfied with how it looks and feels and will definitely buy again if I need another in the future!

I came across this while looking for a replacement for the protective film from XP-Pen's website. In my experience, XP-Pen's protective film is not the best quality & scratches SO easily - I replaced the film twice before searching for an alternative & stumbling across Photodon.
By comparison, Photodon's screen protector is fantastic! I've been using it for a while now & have had no issues with scratching. I ordered sample sheets first, which I highly recommend if you'd like to test out the quality & texture of each of their films before committing. I used the samples to test out which would be the best fit for my needs & to my surprise, the scratch resistant film (9HO) held up perfectly, no scratches whatsoever! (and believe me when I say I was brutal in my pen pressure to fully test how scratch proof the film was.)
The texture of this protector is more sleek and,,, glassy feeling? than the original film that comes with the XP-Pen 15.6, but I got used to it fairly quickly & haven't had any issues with that. Applying the screen protector was surprisingly easy as well - I'm someone who struggles with things like that and I managed to apply it without any bubbles.
The instructions that came with the protector were very straightforward, equipment to apply it was included, and everything was packaged very nicely.
Overall, I would highly recommend photodon!

The screen protector arrived in good condition with very detailed and extensive instructions and setup equipment. They even packed in a test film that I could practice the installation on, and test the feel of the protector with. The screen protector itself feels pretty good, not quite as 'matte-paper' as I would have liked, but definitely an improvement over the stock screen protector. (Feels like halfway between an intuos and a cellphone screen, if that helps) It also has not acquired any scratches after a week of drawing use, which is a good sign. My pen nib doesn't seem to be wearing out either. It's expensive, but you get what you pay for, so I'd recommend.
